The STMA Ice Arena is owned and operated by the cities of St. Michael and Albertville, and the St. Michael – Albertville School District. These entities entered into a joint powers agreement and the STMA Arena Board was created to govern and oversee the facility.
The STMA Joint Powers Arena Board, made up by two elected officials from each of the cities of St. Michael and Albertville as well as three elected members of the St. Michael-Albertville School Board, is responsible for operations and maintenance of the facility. The Arena Board meets monthly the 2nd Monday of the month at 6 pm in the Albertville Council Chambers.
The City of Albertville, through a management agreement, provides management and administrative services for the facility.
